Method of preparation:
approximately 20-40 minutes
- 1 cube of unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons of white or yellow miso
- Juice of one lemon
- 8 king crab legs (fresh or thawed)
1 Place a tripod or saucer on the bottom of a large pot, place the legs on it and add one cup of water. Turn your stove burner to medium heat and steam for about 5 minutes or until the legs catch temperature. It may take less time, so don’t overcook them.
2. bring the butter to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat, gathering foam from the surface. Remove from the heat and wait for the milk particles to sink to the bottom. Slowly pour the clarified butter into a small bowl. Mix with miso and lemon juice.
3 Serve the crab legs accompanied by warm butter mixture and enjoy the unique taste.
